WJPS Alumni Day was on November 25th, the same day as the International Feast.
Every year on the day of the feast, WJPS alumni visit the school to visit classrooms, speak with former teachers, and give advice to current students.
This year, more than 90 alumni visited.
WJPS alumni Andrea Vicente said, “I really like the idea of alumni day. I get to see my favorite teachers and tell them all about my life now that I graduated. I love checking in on them as well, seeing how they’re doing. I also enjoy seeing other staff members like Mr. Myrtil and Mr. Petrotta.”
She added, “This school has a special place in my heart. I’ve made so many memories here, and I love getting to come back and make new ones every year.”
WJPS alumni Isabella Torres said, “I love alumni day. I like getting to come back every year with brand new information to tell my old teachers. I love finding myself a little more each year and getting to share that with people who have helped shape me.”
She added, “My sister [Daniella Torres] also goes here, so I like coming back and asking the same teachers that I had about her, since now she has them as well.”
