Primark is now open in Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst. It is a fashion, home, and beauty store.
The brand has locations across 17 countries in Europe and the United States. Primark was founded in Ireland in 1969.
Primark first opened in Queens Jamaica Avenue, and this marks its 10th store in New York City.
WJPS 12th grader Lina Chun stated, “I will be shopping in Primark because it’s affordable and there’s a variety of clothes and beauty items.“
Mr. Andrejkovics, a teacher at WJPS stated, “I don’t know if I will shop there, but I know I would have enjoyed this store when I was younger because it is a lot like H&M.”
This store may be popular towards teenagers or young adults due to the low prices and variety of clothes and items.
