The Build-A-Buddy fundraiser will happen at WJPS on December 18th. Sports teams need new uniforms and this fundraiser helps make sure the players don’t have to pay out of pocket.
The cost for a buddy is 20 dollars. You have the options between a pig, moose, wolf, bear, or elephant buddy.
Participants will have a chance to create their own stuffed animal with materials provided by the fundraiser.
WJPS teacher and event organizer Ms. Smith said, “I hope that we raise a lot of funds for our sports teams so we can give them the proper equipment to compete with the other schools.”
WJPS 12th grader Dylan Ciardiello said, “I think that it’s a brilliant idea for the sports teams and I might possibly purchase a buddy for someone.”
