This school year features WJPS Spanish teacher Mr. Reff with his own classroom in room 324.
Giving Mr. Reff his own room is a great idea because prior to acquiring the room he was sharing another room with a teacher. This room allows him to have his own space to brighten up the room.
Mr. Reff’s room, upon walking in, feels very vibrant because of the many decorations he added. Now that he isn’t sharing a room anymore, he can add his own touches to make the room feel more welcoming.
Mr. Reff primarily teaches Spanish, and has been teaching for over a decade and he briefly lived in Spain as part of his academic studies. He strives to teach the next upcoming grades in WJPS.
The new room contains LED lights, many posters with Spanish writing, and flags of Spanish-speaking countries and territories. The room also contains cultural items from different countries.
WJPS teacher Mr. Reff stated, “It’s amazing, I get so much done, and everything is in one place.”
WJPS ninth grader Mikayla Costa said, “It’s a nice room, I really like the LED lights. The flags in the room are a nice touch.”
