WJPS is enforcing signing in and out to go to the bathrooms around school.
This is in order to stop the percentage of students wandering around the hallways for long periods of time.
They are missing classroom time and other important things teachers say while they’re gone.
There are time stamps, and a list of which students go in and out of each class; but not just to sign in and out in the classroom, but in front of the third floor bathroom doors as well.
WJPS 11th grader, Aida Dervisevic stated, “I think it’s fine because it doesn’t really inconvenience me, and I understand that it’s there, so the school can keep track of who leaves the classroom.”
WJPS 11th grader, Nataly Rameriz stated, “In all honesty signing in and out of the bathroom is quite annoying, but it’s nothing impossible, so I don’t really mind having to do so.”
