Students should receive technology from school like tablets and laptops, which will definitely benefit them. Some students and families might not be able to afford the technology they need to complete the homework they were assigned.
Some schools might also not have enough money to give these students the technology that they need, but it should be included in their budgets.
Taking home laptops and tablets would benefit many students here at WJPS. They would be able to get assignments done, study, and conduct research.
The technology doesn’t necessarily have to be a MacBook Air or an Apple tablet. It could be something more affordable, such as a Chromebook, just so that students have something to use to get the work done.
WJPS 10th grader, Amanda Rodriguez said, “Yes, I do think that students should still receive technology from schools, you can do more work in less time.”
WJPS 12th grader Dylan Schachter said, “Yes, students should still receive laptops and tablets from schools, because many students don’t have the money to afford any.”
