This fall, WJPS students have opportunities to play sports at Francis Lewis High School.
The fall sports include soccer, cross country, fencing, volleyball, golf, swimming tennis, badminton, and cheerleading.
All the tryouts are held at Francis Lewis High School after school.
If you want to try out for a sport, check the WJPS sports Google Classroom page that all high school students were invited to at the beginning of the year.
For sports you need a medical form from your doctor to see if you’re eligible to practice, and eligible to play.
Without a medical form from your doctor, you are not able to participate or try out for any sport at Francis Lewis High School.
WJPS teacher and coach Ms. Leto said, “The most popular sport in the fall is boys soccer team and girls soccer team. With hard work and dedication, I think the team can win the championship this year.”
WJPS 12th grader, Jaclyn Neira, a member of the volleyball team said, “I feel confident about this year’s with the 13 girls on the team.”
