WJPS is having their first spirit week of the 2024-2025 school year. This will start on October 28th until October 31st.
The spirit week will be Halloween themed as it was approved for October.
Starting off the week on Monday October 28th will be spooky pajama day, Tuesday October 29th will be Halloween colors (these colors include, green, orange, black, or white.)
Wednesday October 30th will be Beetlejuice day. Students should wear anything related to Beetlejuice or wear green.
And finally October 31st which is Halloween will be costume day. Those who want to participate can dress in their school appropriate costumes.
WJPS teacher Mr. Thompson said, “I think it’s great that the student government has already planned the first spirit week of the school year. The students seem to love dressing up and participating in spirit week days so I’m excited to see how they dress up starting the 28th of October.”
11th grader and student government member Samantha Almonte said, “I always look forward to the October spirit week every year because I like seeing what people’s costumes are.”
