The new live-action minecraft movie is set to release on IMAX April 4th, 2025 and will be viewed all around the world.
The producer Warner Bros Pictures, who have created hit movies like Joker (2019) which won many awards or more well known movies like Aquaman (2018), are in the works of creating “The Minecraft Movie” which is inspired by the popular indie game “Minecraft.”
Some actors that will be featured in this movie are Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Hansen.
The Minecraft movie overall plot will follow the struggles of a group of strangers faced with day to day problems then suddenly being transported to the “overworld”.
WJPS 12th Grader Preston Ng said, “I can’t wait for this movie to come out, I’ve been playing the game Minecraft for so long so I can’t wait for this movie to come out.”
WJPS ninth grader Aaleyah Hadzovic stated, “I don’t usually play video games, but I truly am excited to see this movie and I can’t wait to watch this movie on release day.”
