Teravision Games plans to release a game based on the 80s horror film Killer Klowns from Outer Space, sometime in 2024. Fans of the movie will get the opportunity to step in the shoes of the Klowns, participating in their antics of terrorizing the town of Crescent Cove.
While players can torment the citizens as Klowns, they can also choose to play as people of the town banding together to fight against the Klowns and their weapons.
The options for playable Klowns are limited to three in each match, but there are five classes of classic camp horror staples people can play in the 3v7: Punks, Cops, Bikers, Rednecks, and Teens.
Recreations of the Killer Klowns are from Outer Space movie’s most famous scenes. Players get a new experience every time they play since each match features randomly generated locations and objectives.
WJPS 11th grader Aisha Ismail said, “I think it was a good movie, mixing two fears into one. I think it will do well as a game because the guns and characters escaping the Klowns would be a good game plot.”
WJPS teacher Mr. Reff also shared, “It’s a sick, scary and stupidly funny movie. I’m not sure if it would do well as a game franchise. Do people even care about clowns anymore?”
Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
