LeBron James became the player with the most minutes played in NBA history during a game last month between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers. He has surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s with more than 66,000 minutes.
Throughout James’ career, he has won four NBA championships, is the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, has won two Olympic gold medals, and four MVPs.
James began his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003 at age 19 after being drafted straight from high school. He is soon to turn 39 years old.

WJPS 12th grader, Junhao Ge said, “I personally think James is the greatest player in the NBA. Whether it is his physical fitness or playing skills, he is the best, so I am not surprised that he won these honors because he should have won them.”
