The new open-world action role-playing game, Hogwarts Legacy is set in the same universe as the Harry Potter books. Nintendo Switch users are now able to take charge of the situation and direct their own magical journey when it releases on November 10th.
Players will become a Hogwarts student, selected into a house as a Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw.
From then they are free to explore the campus making friends along the way where charms, potions, and spells can be used.
The RPG had already been released earlier this year but only for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, and PC.
While Switch players will be able to explore Hogwarts as witches and wizards, there is much talk about how the game will perform on the Nintendo Switch console, as it’s a relatively smaller and less powerful device compared to other consoles.
WJPS junior Adam Shalaby said, “I would get it since I was a huge Harry Potter fan when I was younger.”
Maya Guadarrama, a WJPS junior said, “I don’t think it’s a game I would download on my switch because it was meant to be a game for PlayStation, on the switch it can mess with the graphics and not give you a good experience.”
