The upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game is set to release globally on November 10th according to the games creator Activision.
The game is a direct branch off of the 2022 Modern Warfare 2 where the player and their team’s goal is to take down main antagonist Vladimir Makarov.
Call of Duty players will see familiar faces throughout the game. Characters include Lieutenant Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, Captain John Price, and John ‘Soap’ MacTavish.
The Zombies Mode joins the Modern Warfare Series for the first time. In the largest Zombies map ever, players will be able to band up with other teams in order to survive and battle enormous armies of the undead.
Activison states all of the maps from the original Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2009) will make a revamped return to the game, as well as new models and gameplay features.
The game will be available for purchase on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Battle.Net, and Steam.
WJPS junior, Rick Montoya, said, “I want to play to experience the No Russians level of the game and see how they changed it compared to the original version.”
Mark Miller, another WJPS junior, shared his thoughts on purchasing the upcoming game, “If I hear it’s good, it’s possible, but I have to see what people say about it.”
