Imagine paying extra for premium just to not have advertisements.
Apple Music versus Spotify is still an ongoing debate, while Apple offers high resolution streaming, Spotify has services more in line with social features as they offer collaborative playlists.
Rusell Nazamy, WJPS sophomore said, “I use Apple Music because I don’t like how Spotify is set up. It’s trash.”
Sofia Alarcon, WJPS senior, stated, “Spotify, I’ve gotten used to the app layout and can’t imagine using another app and I have premium so there are no ads.”
WJPS junior, Nick Carollo commented, “Apple Music of course, why would I choose ads? They’re so annoying.”
Ms. Bonanni, WJPS science teacher said, “I use iTunes. I’m an old soul but if I were to choose, it would be Apple Music because Spotify is confusing.”
Lauren Conte, WJPS senior said, “Apple music duh, I don’t like Spotify. Apple music all the way.”
In a brief survey, it seems like Apple has more fans than Spotify solely because of ads.
Perhaps if Spotify were to cut down the amount of ads one gets, or add more skips then maybe more people would subscribe to Spotify rather than Apple.
