WJPS does not allow students early graduation access. Early graduation access should be an option for students and not made by their own school. Students spend their own time, money, and health fulfilling their 44 credits to be able to get into the college of their dreams and should not have to waste time doing a full four years in high school.
WJPS junior, Nathan Gibson commented, “I don’t think that’s fair, because if they have the credits they should be able to graduate in January.”
WJPS principal, Dr. Werner said, “as a small school, we make sure our students get four years of math and science, so that’s why we don’t have early access.”
