Another new teacher has entered WJPS. Mr. Teterukov teaches ninth grade geometry.
He stated he came to WJPS thanks to a friend who had children who were students at this school. Additionally, he heard good things about the school so he applied for the job.
He previously taught at Spring Creek Community School in Brooklyn.
“I love geometry and math in general. I have always been good at explaining and I also enjoy working with students. I took all the things that I loved and turned it into a career.”
Mr. Teterukov also shared his teaching philosophy stating, “I think that every student can succeed in math. There are no students who are bad at math, only students who are afraid and nervous with seeing all the large numbers. My goal being here is to guide them and make learning new material simple and fun.”
Mr. Teterukov can be found in room 329.
