WJPS students and staff members attended the Broadway show, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” live on Broadway.

To attend the show, there was a fee of $15 per ticket for students.

The cast consists of James Romney, Stephen Spinella, Steve Haggard, Jenny Jules, Angela Reed, Aaron Burtz, David Abeles.

This play was written by Jack Thorne. “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is an extension of the “Harry Potter” book series written by J. K. Rowling.

WJPS assistant principal, Daniel Petrotta stated, “I was glad to get our students back to Broadway again this year. Whenever we have the opportunity to take our students to live performances by incredible Broadway performers, it’s always a great experience. I particularly love when we get to take students to their first ever Broadway show. It’s so awesome to hear their thoughts and what they enjoy about the experience.”

WJPS senior, Briana Peña said, “It was a wonderful experience and a wonderful opportunity. I suggest anyone go and watch, if given the opportunity they should take it.”
