WJPS has hired a new Earth Science teacher named Mr. Johnson and he is one of the many new faces in the WJPS community.
He said that he came to WJPS to teach a more mature and dedicated science, also wanting to provide new ways of thinking about the Earth and all the things that happen on the planet.
Mr. Johnson previously taught at P.S.49, but now he can be found in room 357.
He stated he wanted to look for a new chance to teach Earth Science. “I have a background in Geology and I have 15 years of experience coming with me to teach new minds.
“I also have a degree in Geology and want to use that knowledge in a place where students want to learn and listen.”
Mr. Johnson also proclaimed, “I enjoy teaching students and I would like to be able to help them understand the world around them, how things work, and make future educated decisions in and out of the classroom.”
