Walking into Roma Bagels and Pastry Café, the scent of freshly baked cakes and cookies immediately wafts in the air. The café is located on Francis Lewis Boulevard, just across the street from WJPS.
The place appeared empty when walking in, which at first glance may seem suspicious, but in actuality, it’s more convenient. An employee immediately walked up and was ready to take orders.
The wait time was not long for a plain bagel with cream cheese, and the order only cost three dollars. Upon receiving the order and tasting it, a good decision was made.
The bagel was loaded with cream cheese, which was too much. However, this was rectified upon asking for a knife to spread the cream cheese around. The bagel itself was warm and toasted to perfection.
Together, the flavors treated the perfect meal, and the satisfaction was well worth the price. Overall, Roma Bagels and Pastry Cafe is a must if you’re in the area.
