WJPS has had a new addition to its staff; Ms. Cat. She started working at WJPS in early February, and she focuses on aiding students with college and “FAFSA issues, contacting schools, keeping track of where they get accepted.”

Ms. Cat stated, “When I applied here, I was under the title of substitute aid so I was on patrol for a year, but a couple months after WJPS let me work here full-time.” She considers herself lucky because she said it usually takes a couple of years to obtain a full- time position, and she also thinks her work ethic played a large part in getting accepted. 

Ms. Cat is a very busy person. As a mother of a two and a half year old, she barely has time for herself. “At work, when I get free time I go through my emails and fill out some paperwork. I eat and work at the same time, I’m never not busy,” she commented. 

Her interests outside of school consist of watching anime, doing kickboxing, practicing Tai Chi and yoga, and occasionally playing sports.
