Il Nocello is a cozy little Italian restaurant located in Whitestone. They offer catering services and have extra seating for parties upstairs.
Upon walking into the restaurant, the staff immediately greets you and gets you seated. The service is quick.
You can tell most of the food is fresh and homemade. The waiter mentioned that the food is made the day and that fresh ingredients are used.
They have your typical variety of starters, as well as pasta, chicken, veal, and fish entrees. However, the food is a bit expensive.
When ordering desserts at other restaurants, they usually get them from a nearby bakery or aren’t as fresh, but not at Il Nocello. The tiramisu was delicious and creamy.
I recommend Il Nocello; I believe it is a four out of a five-star restaurant because the food is quite tasty and fresh but a bit pricey. However, if you can’t visit the restaurant, they do deliveries.
