Finding An iPhone

Finding An iPhone

Apple, a brand known for its technological advancements in terms of cameras on phones, recently had a halt in production of the iPhone 13, the company’s newest product.

This shortage was caused by an insufficient amount of parts received from their suppliers.

Apple has been slowly cutting production since late October, stating that the lack of supplies is impacting production. This caused the company to draw back its goal of producing 95 million iPhone 13 units to 83 million units.

With the holidays here, customers may be searching for the newest iPhone as a gift, and now it’s likely that they may have some trouble finding it.

Apple addressed this problem, stating that their production will be back on track by early February.

WJPS freshman Amy Zhao said, “It’s upsetting that people who have been waiting for the newest iPhone would not be able to get it for the holiday season.”

WJPS junior, Giovanni Duran stated, “It’s unfortunate for those who want the phone if they have older model phones, those phones are going to experience more problems as time goes on because that’s how Apple products are.”
