CS:Go is a team based shooter game where the objective can vary from securing an objective to eliminating all enemy players. This year, these eight teams are battling it out for a prize pool of one million dollars: Natus Vincere, Vitality, G2, Gambit, NIP, Heroic, Astralis, and Liquid.
From previous tournaments, nearly half a million people on average would watch this tournament. The game was released in 2012 and has changed a lot since then. The prize pool changed from 250 thousand to one million dollars, sponsored by the video game company, Valve.
The tournament will be streaming live and will available starting December 19th on YouTube’s and Twitch’s apps and websites.
