Proof of vaccination is necessary for indoor activities, like indoor dining and fitness. This policy pressures people to get the vaccine.
Due to this, it helps the community by getting more people vaccinated, which would lower COVID cases. Having only people who are vaccinated be in the same environment could possibly decrease the chances of getting and spreading the Coronavirus.
This policy positively impacts people who got vaccinated and gives them a much safer indoor environment.
Even though it couldn’t fully prevent people from getting the virus, it could decrease the chances of contracting it.
WJPS teacher, Ms. Zhang said, “It doesn’t really change much, since when you eat, you take off your mask. As Coronavirus spreads rapidly, it doesn’t really prevent you from others, but people could have a lesser chance of getting it by having been vaccinated.”
A WJPS junior, Thekli Chronis believed that the policy is helpful. She stated “It’s safer, the Delta virus is spreading fast, it is a big risk to us and the people who aren’t vaccinated now are the ones in the hospital.”
If you want to participate in indoor activities, just get the shot.
