Gmail is a tool in the school community that staff and students use to reach out to each other and get notifications.
On the WJPS website, students are advised to check their Gmail daily, in order to get information on time.
After one year of students graduating from the school, the account is deleted.
Checking Gmail daily also distinguishes the appropriateness of time, because the messenger who sends a Gmail too late is less likely to be viewed by both staff and students.
The best time for sending emails is before eight pm, for people who sleep early and for students who have been doing homework.
“The best time for a teacher and student to look at a Gmail would be in the morning or after school,” said Madison Oliphant, a WJPS junior.
Ms. Bonanni, a WJPS physics teacher, stated, “I think it is important for students and teachers to check their Gmail multiple times a day. You can receive important information about the day.”
