Could the successful actor, Dwayne Johnson be planning a future in politics? Yes, the 49-year-old Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who is well known for his action movies is being open to a possible political career. 

Johnson stressed the fact that he doesn’t know the first thing about politics but if it captivates the people then he will certainly do it.

WJPS senior, Eltzy Galindo, said, “But if he wants to I mean that’s a great thing for him. But I think he should learn more about it.”

The actor/producer/businessman also stated that he considers himself a person with “Some decent leadership qualities” and has a great passion to unite the country again. However, he makes it clear that he wouldn’t necessarily be a good presidential candidate, but doesn’t completely disregard the opportunity.

WJPS science teacher Mr. Van Deurs said, “I don’t mind people who are celebrities or any job in general out of politics, but I think when you already have a massive following and, then you announce that your moving into politics, it brings with it a certain problem of people just blindly following you.”
