In most schools including here at WJPS, there is only a boys and girls bathroom. Why is that? Schools should really have a gender-neutral bathroom because it would decrease less stress for gender-nonconforming and transgender students.
There are over 600 students in our school and there are over 40 staff members in the school. The teachers have three bathrooms and the students only have two bathrooms. The solution is that the school should take away one of the teacher bathrooms because it could be used as a gender-neutral bathroom.
The problem is that the teachers would get furious because we would be taking away one of their bathrooms. It would be a good thing for the school because it would make the school more friendly for the students and people part of the LGBTQ+ community.
