Halloween is approaching and it’s time to think about Halloween costumes. Here are some Halloween costume ideas that could be some of the best contenders.

If you’re going for a spooky-horror theme, here are some costumes you should consider: Edward Scissorhands or Corpse Bride. If you are going for a more simple and easy costume, think of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. Another classic costume idea is to be, of course, a classic devil.

These are just some costume ideas that come to mind, but of course there are many more to choose from. For these costumes you don’t have to do too much nor spend that much to get the look of the characters. 

For the costumes, you could add a bit of makeup and wear an outfit with the color palettes of the characters. However, if you want to look more realistic you could use props or some special effects makeup to get the full look.

Acelin Lunetta, also a junior at WJPS, said “I love to see girls go as angels or devils. I see it every year yet they pull it off so nicely.”
