Quarantine allowed many teenagers to have more free time. Many teenagers have taken advantage of that to pursue hobbies that have caught their interest.
With these hobbies came, businesses and teenagers were able to paint nails, make art, and even make clothing. With this, many started to earn profit.
Schools are a great example of a place to promote a business and gather a bigger audience. This can help students learn skills such as dealing with customers and learning how to maintain a business.
It can also motivate other students to pursue their businesses. Promotion allows an increase in brand awareness as well as sales and profits, preparing students for the real world.
WJPS senior Nyla Briones said, “I am thinking about starting my own business. I make my own clothes so the school would [be] a good place to promote since I’m here most of the time.”
Jenny Kuo, WJPS senior said, “Promoting small businesses can be beneficial for many students because you get to share your creative work with others.”
Hopefully, in the future we see WJPS students promoting their businesses as well as supporting them.
