March 13, 2020 marked the last day for many students and staff going to school due to the Coronavirus. During that period, schools tried to make in-person learning possible by making sure students were in safe conditions.
Not only was remote learning an easy way to get away from the crowd, but it also kept everyone safe so that they could return back to school as soon as possible.
In-person learning reopened on September 13th, 2021, but it faced many problems. Teachers and students tried hard to speak loud so the class could keep up with the course, while wearing a mask.
Juliana Lopinto, a WJPS junior said, “I believe in person schooling is the best option because it gets you back into society and it makes the learning experience better.”
“I would choose in person. It’s better for the kids. There is more interaction between teachers and students,” said Mr. Tesler, a history teacher at WJPS.
The epidemic is still happening now. Keep your distance and wash your hands for the safety of everyone, and please wear a mask.
