Google has begun working on Android 12, which is now open for Beta use for some Android phones, such as the recent top of the line phones from Samsung and Xiaomi, and Google Pixel 4 and up.
This new update has been recently opened for beta, which Google recommends users who are willing to participate in the beta to “backup your data to prevent data loss”, since bugs may occur as they work on it.
Android 11 recently came out in September of 2020, which allows Android users to record their device screen and in game audio, and a few other user interface fixes.
Android 11 is still being rolled out to many phones, although not all phones will be able to receive the update.
Android 12 is an upgrade to phone customization, which Google promises to give more colors and widget choices for Android users to customize however they want.
Google is focusing on improving the user interface, and has showed examples of what they will be bringing to this update, such as rounding out the keyboard, with each letter and button being a circular instead of a rectangular shape.
The update is still not complete, however many Android users are looking forward to how much Google will do to increase customization on Android phones.
