The 24-year-old Oscar nominee, Timothée Chalamet, made his first Saturday Night Live hosting appearance with musical guest Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
The actor introduced the show with a monologue, talking about growing up in New York City and his memories of Christmas in the city.
Chalamet appeared in several sketches, which included impressions and vocals.
Chalamet ended the show with an inspirational quote trying to distracted the world from what we are living in at the moment.
World Journalism student Nyla Briones said, “My favorite part was when Timothée and Pete dressed up as Soundcloud rappers. It was filled with great skits that made me laugh”.
World Journalism student Yarelly Ramirez said, “I think him being on SNL was great. I didn’t watch the entire episode, but I have been seeing short clips of it on Tik Tok. I know SNL is comedic so I will definitely be watching the entire episode later. I think him being on it made more people want to watch it because he is so famous so it was a smart idea.”
