Due to COVID 19 schools have been shut down and some future seniors at WJPS wish to go back to school to meet with friends and learn traditionally since some say it’s harder to concentrate at home than at school.
A junior at WJPS Joon Park thinks that school will not be open if the second wave of the virus comes. Since some of the work is hard, he said it is difficult to ask for help. Even if the work is hard he believes it will help him since college is tougher. He is managing his time by trying to do work first and then watching anime or playing games with friends online. He wants to tell his fellow peers, “ Let’s all work hard and graduate together on time.”
WJPS junior Alexandros Argyros thinks school will not open because many people are not wearing masks, which will make the virus spread and not stop it. He claims studying at home is harder to understand the work being given and hopes schools open in September so he can be with friends and receive help when he needs it right away. He is managing his time by doing bits of work at a time and playing or watching shows. He wants to tell his fellow peers, “Let’s work hard and move on.”
David Montanez, another junior at WJPS, claims working at home is harder since there are many distractions at home. However, he can manage his time by doing work little by little.
