Throughout the years, social media has greatly influenced our daily lives. It’s heavily implemented in workspaces, schooling, and general socializing.
Many students in schools use social media for communication purposes, however, with all of the many social media choices out there, students must have a preferred platform they like to use more than the others.
Some prefer Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, for communication purposes and posting their favorite content online for friends and family to see. Others prefer using YouTube to watch videos instead of scrolling through other social media platforms.
Vipraal Budhram, WJPS junior said, “My favorite app is YouTube because it is free to watch and it is a platform that gives access to videos of millions of people worldwide.”
“TikTok is my favorite app because it is addicting and you can see how people are creative in their videos,” said Eltzy Galindo, WJPS sophomore.
“Instagram because you can see and learn about new things from your friends and celebrities and that you can explore places through the app and it helps me communicate with friends as well,” said WJPS junior, Sasha Romero.
“Discord is my favorite because it’s nice to use to talk to friends. It’s a very innovative app and fun to use for both voice and text communication,” said Daniel Ian, WJPS senior.
