Respect For All Week is a time of support and care for the school’s community through generous things being said and written. On each heart, there are unique compliments from high school students who have chosen to write something meaningful.
Ms. Paplow, WJPS guidance counselor brought upon this idea to bring love and generosity to the students and teachers. The seniors have come together and put them up on a wall by Mr. Petrotta’s office.
WJPS junior, Sasha Romero who has also participated in this mural said, “I think this is a lovely idea because it’s nice to see little compliments and pleasant things being said to make everyone feel good about themselves. It makes me happy to see the support and kindness.”
WJPS sophomore, Hamza Ariyan said, “I think this idea is nice. Seeing the mural makes me feel good because the positivity makes me feel welcomed and special. I participated in writing a compliment on a paper heart saying, You are unique.”
“Throw Kindness Like Confetti” is the slogan for Respect For All Week. According to Ms. Paplow the week the spreads positivity to each and every individual in the school.
