Before the Promethean board, many schools had SMART boards. As technology started to  improve over the years, the Promethean boards came into classrooms.

Now that we have more advanced technology, teachers are able to work better and improve visual learning. The Promethean board is similar to a big iPad and is really easy to get used to. 

Not only can teachers work better, but students can as well. Before the Promethean boards, we were using mostly SMART boards at WJPS. 

It was really frustrating trying to watch videos on it because there would always be a glare or blank out and take a long time to reload. None of the teachers and students have the time for that.  

Personally, ever since the advanced boards came into WJPS, my learning experience has been improved.

“It has better quality and just looks better it also looks neater than the old board,” said Sasha Romero, WJPS junior.

“It’s more interactive and you can do more things that a SMART board can’t do. It also doesn’t need a projector,” said Vipraal Budhram, WJPS junior.
