Among millions of games that can be found on Steam, a game distribution service up and running since 2003, there’s a game for everyone. One of the games on there that has been given lots of positive attention since its release is Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2.)
Originally created by Valve, L4D2 is an award-winning sequel to the original Left 4 Dead game. It’s mainly about four people surviving a zombie apocalypse, looking for rescue at the end of each mission.
L4D2 is used for a co-op experience, meaning it’s supported to play with up to four players.
The difference between L4D and its sequel is gameplay and storyline. Since the second game is for both co-op and single player, you can chose missions your friends and you would like to play which has more uncommon types of zombies like the Tank, Spitter, Witch, and Boomer.
The multiplayer aspect of the sequel was greatly requested and later much appreciated by L4D fans.
Daniel Ian, a WJPS senior said, “It’s really cool to play and it’s better with friends, so make sure you have at least a party of four to get the best experience.”
