Terry Bogard, from the SNK game series “Fatal Fury” was recently added as a DLC (Downloadable Content) fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The character is available for purchase for six dollars, or alternatively, there is the “Fighters Pass” available for 25 dollars which comes with five fighters, Joker from Persona 5, The Hero from Dragon Quest, Banjo and Kazooie from Banjo-Kazooie, Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury, and one more fighter who has yet to be announced.
The character was announced a few months ago, and earlier this month, developer Masahiro Sakurai hosted a Nintendo direct that showed off the character’s history, moveset (the abilities the character can perform) in smash and other new items to the game, and was released later that same day. This direct can still be seen on Nintendo’s YouTube channel today.
WJPS junior Joon Park said, “Terry would be a cool character, if he actually functioned properly. He can just be really inconsistent to use.”
“Terry is really cool and I always wanted to see him in the game, so it’s cool to actually see him in action,” said WJPS senior Brandon Levy.
