WJPS’ Middle School Glow Dance was on October 25th from 6:30 pm until 7:30 pm and it was said to be a blast by many.
Sponsored by the PTA, the dance took place in the gym and included music, dancing, food, and drinks.
WJPS seventh grader, Keymara Jackson claimed to have had a lot of fun at the dance. “My favorite part of the Glow Dance was when my friends and I were dancing and then we made a conga line. We were each given glow sticks and sang along to the music. It was so fun and I had a great time.”
WJPS eighth grader Madison Pizzurro said, “My favorite part about the Glow Dance was when everyone danced together. I enjoyed dancing in the dark with glow necklaces and bracelets, and also the fact that there was a variety of different snacks to buy.”
Diego Figueroa, a seventth grader at WJPS said, “I loved when we all jumped on the bleachers and made a rhythm. There was a DJ and he played great music. A lot of people at the dance were enjoying themselves and we all came together and had fun!”
