World Journalism Preparatory School is releasing a new uniform shirt to represent our school’s mascot, “The Wolf.”
Shirts have already been released for purchase on the school’s website, and are available in feminine fit, unisex, and youth fit, and are listed as $15 each.
In 2018, the 10th grade WJPS students worked on a project with our graphic design teacher, Ms. Meneses, to create a mascot and place it on a shirt, polo, or sweater that may potentially be used for a new uniform option for students and staff to purchase.
However, this did not happen, but now WJPS has created their own shirts, giving students an addition to the variety of uniform shirts already provided for students.
Junior Kathrynn Montero states, “I think it’s a considerate action the school is doing, providing students with a new shirt and with a new option they may want to wear, without doing it only because it’s a school policy.”
George Rubino, a sophomore, states, “It’s good the school is adding new options for uniform.”
