The NFL free agency period is a make-it-or-break-it time during the off-season for all 32 NFL teams. Making a big splash this off-season was the New York Jets.
So far in this off-season, the Jets have made several moves, first of which was firing Todd Bowles and replacing him with Adam Gase. Gase was the former head coach of the rival Miami Dolphins, and was brought in so he can help develop quarterback Sam Darnold.
The Jets also brought in other free agents, one of which was the Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Le’Veon Bell, who was signed to a four year $52.5 million contract. The Jets also acquired linebacker C.J Mosley from the Baltimore Ravens on a five year deal worth $85 million. The Jets also got Jamison Crowder from the Washington Redskins on a three year deal worth $28.5 million.
To go along with their free agent signings, the Jets also left the NFL draft with the third overall pick, which can be used to add another big name star from the college football ranks.
