World Journalism Preparatory School’s annual Frost Valley trip in the Catskill Mountains is taking place from February 26th to February 28th. Eighth and ninth graders are encouraged to attend this trip to develop their communication and social skills.
Students are placed in groups and work together to complete physical outdoor activities such as hiking, ziplining, and rope bridge. This trip’s goal is to help form stronger bonds with peers and improve on problem-solving skills using teamwork.
The trip costs a total of $270, including transportation on a coach bus there and back, lodging, hot meals, health services, and incidental expenses. The cafeteria meals are given a wide selection of dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Anyone still interested in signing up should see Mr. Lumetta in the guidance office.
