As school days are going, the class of 2015 is getting ready to plan out their upcoming events throughout senior year.
Senior committee had their first meeting on September 17th to discuss about what they will plan for senior hoodies, dance, and most importantly prom.
“I feel really good to be involved in the [senior] committee, and planning out what events will be happening for the year,” senior Kaitlyn McKenna said.
First meeting was about discussing on what locations senior would want to go for senior picture day. The list was shortened to five places and a poll was sent out with all the locations. The results came in with the senior photo being held at the Brooklyn Bridge.
Since there are many people who are participating in the senior committee, there will be sub committees in charge of prom, senior barbeque, and dance.
“We are trying to give our senior class the best time we can give them. I am looking forward to discuss all the upcoming events during the [upcoming] meetings, ” co-president Natalie Owens said.
It was the first meeting where things are not fully organized but the senior committee has put out many ideas to plan an adventurous year.
