BALI trainees exercise their full potential

Femininjas stepped closer to their roads of success and received feedback on their creative writing compositions.
Ayanna Najuma, an advocate for enhancing the quality of life, assisted the girls to unlock their true potential.
Najuma held two workshops, in which the trainees were informed on certain etiquettes that may pave the road for the future. Good manners won’t hurt someone who is being polite.
After Najuma’s workshop, the trainees and interns started to watch the movie, Suffragette. The interns would later lead a discussion based on the movie.
Afternoon was spent on a writing review workshop. All trainees submitted a creative writing piece, which was reviewed by volunteer writing reviewers.
Writing Reviewers held one-on-one conferences, in which they provided feedback for the trainee’s writing pieces. They suggested revisions in places that were necessary. Some reviewers also left compliments.
Trainees found this workshop to be beneficial.
“She [writing reviewer] gave me feedback on grammar, mostly. I think I will pay attention to plural and singular. And I will pay attention to the fact that grammar does matter to a certain extent in poetry,” trainee Alliyah Logan said.
