New Star Wars Trailer Releasing

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the 7th movie, has been released after 32 years, and the franchise has reawakened with a new found love from Star Wars fans.

While everyone has gotten excited for the sudden release of a sequel, the cliffhanger has left everyone jumping out of their seats. Now, there is talk of a spinoff series called, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The trailer is to be released on the morning of Thursday, April 7th.

“I really enjoy seeing the Star Wars universe expand beyond its main story about the Skywalker family. Normally, it’s been through the animated shows like Clone Wars and Rebels, or comics and novels. But now we’re going to be able to see movies that fill out the corners of the story, and I think this will show people that don’t really get get the hype that Star Wars isn’t just one story, but a full on mythological universe. It makes the galaxy seem that much more lived in, an element that was so intrinsic to the success of the original,” junior Daniel Dougherty said.

This spin-off may just be giving the people something to tie them over until the next Star Wars movie, which is said to be released in 2017.
