Taylor Swift has partnered with Scholastic to donate 25,000 new books to schools. She has supported this since last year when she released a 30-minute video about the importance of kids and reading.

“I think that’s very generous of her since most schools are in need of books anyway,” college freshman Alexander Brogna said.

Together they plan to donate 1,000 books to 25 schools a week as part of the “Scholastic Possible Fund”. These new, age-appropriate books will be donated to 25 schools in need all over New York City.
“I think it’s really great she did that, but I also think she could do a lot more considering she is the ambassador of New York, and the pay for those books is like pocket change to her,” Calhoun High School junior, Mckayla Steffens said.
