Kim Kardashian, recently posted a nude selfie on Instagram and Twitter, censoring parts of it with a black bar. The selfie, which was posted on March 7th, was captioned, “When you’re like I have nothing to wear LOL.”

Actress and model, Chloe Grace Moretz, called Kim out on Twitter by stating, “I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than- just our bodies.” The 19 year old then retweeted one of Bette Midler’s tweets in which she stated, “Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.”

Moretz was called out by many for “slut-shaming”. She then went to Twitter and posted, “There’s a huge difference in respecting the platform that you’re given as a celebrity and ‘slut shaming’ something I never have done and would never do.”

Kardashian then responded to Moretz by tweeting, “Let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. Your nylon cover is cute boo.”

When Elle asked about her feud with Kardashian, Moretz responded to Kardashian  on Twitter: “Let’s all welcome … with, ‘All I’ll say is that I think a lot of things can be misconstrued in a lot of ways. And I think if people open their minds more, and they try to look deeper into something than just something that is a very big, hot, fiery button to hide behind….I think if people looked into something bigger that I was trying to speak upon, they wouldn’t be so easy to fire back silly, miscellaneous things.”

“I think that Kim Kardashian should be able to post whatever she likes without getting hate in return. It’s her body and it should be up to her on what she wants to do with it,” junior Elizabeth Browne said.

Even though Kardashian received some hate, the overall response from her fans were positive.
