As Christmas and the new year just recently passed, people got ready for their many different plans for the winter break.

“I’m going upstate to a lodge cabin and then we’re going to go skiing, snowboarding, and my dogs are coming with us and then after that we are going to PA and go snowboarding with my family,” 6th grader Matthew deCanio said.

“I’m going to North Carolina. I’m going there to see my cousins and I can’t wait because I haven’t seen them in forever so i’m really excited,” 7th grader Holly Anderson said.

“I’m going to my uncle’s house in Oyster Bay Cove we are going to be making cookies and other food for the holidays,” 8th grader Danielle Vitale said.

“For Christmas break I am going to Aruba, I’m really excited because this is my second time going there and I can’t wait because I am going with my best friend,” 8th grader Michelle Wright said.

“I’m going upstate to my family’s winter house in Windham Mountain, I can’t wait because I love going up there and spending time with my family,” freshman Ashley Romero said.

“I’m going to my cousin’s wedding in Long Island on New Years so I’m really stoked and it’s going to be really fun and it’s going to be a good end to my Vacation and to 2015,” sophomore grader James Panagakos said.

“I’m going to Mexico; I’m really excited because i’m going for my 16th birthday and I’m going with my older sister so it’s going to be really fun,” junior Melanie Doubler said.

“I’m going to Georgia to visit my relatives. I’m really happy I’m going down there because I haven’t been down there in a couple years and some of my favorite stores and restaurants are there so I’m really ecstatic to go back down there,” senior Alyssa Kang said.

Many people celebrated the holidays in multiple different ways and many people went on vacation to many different places to spend time with family, friends and loved ones.
