San Bernardino Shooting leaves 14 dead and 17 wounded

A mass shooting, leaving 14 dead and 17 wounded, at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California, happened December 2nd.

Police are not aware of the motives behind the shooting but can confirm two suspects are dead according to CNN’s article “At least 14 people killed in shooting in San Bernardino; suspect identified.”

Chief Jarrod Burguan of the San Bernardino Police Department identified the two suspects as Syed Rizwan Farook, 28 an inspector with the county health department and Tashfeen Malik, 27.

Police are not sure if there is a third suspect to the shooting, but according to CNN’s article there was a third person caught running near the scene who was later detained.

San Bernardino shooting raised questions amongst the people in California, questioning the gun control policy

“San Bernardino shooting took everyone by surprise, it was just so unexpected. I don’t know what to think. There has to be something we can do about it,” junior Parris Cherry Says.

Alcohol, tobacco and firearms and explosives (ATF) told CNN that one of the guns used in the shooting were legally purchased and have been traced to someone who is believed to be connected to the shooting.  

Later on in the day there was a shootout between the two suspects and the police. It is believed that Tashfeen was driving and Syed was shooting but it has not been confirmed. riving and Syed shooting but have not been confirmed it was them.
