Students and teachers participated in college week

College week was full of events for the students to participate in. Each day had something incorporated with the students future.

On Monday, November 30th the events started with students writing letters to their future self and what their goals were for their future. Letters were hung on the bulletin board by the main office.

Tuesday, was dress for success day and students and teachers dressed in business attire.

Wednesday was career day where people came to talk about their professions and what it took to get their. There was also a press meeting for the people who participated in career day.

“Of Course my favorite day was dress for success day because I dress in business attire everyday,” senior Elijah Harris said.

Thursday people wore sunglasses for “my future is bright so I need to wear shades,” so everyone came in wearing their glasses.

Finally, Friday, December 4th students ended the week with students wearing college sweatshirts. Students were allowed to wear jeans if they had on a college sweatshirt.

“It went well as always, career day went well as always, I like how the students especially juniors and seniors get the idea of careers as applying for colleges,” student government coordinator Mr. Nisonoff said.
